Spectrometer designed for students as per IS: 6471-1971 Amdt no 1, Reaffirmed 1998.. The main structure is to be of cast iron base with leveling screws. Shall have brass protected circle read by two opposite verniers. 10x Ramsden eye piece & eye piece holder with fine cross wire to be provided. The objective to be of 25 mm aperture & 150 mm min focal length. The lenses of collimator and telescope are to be achromatic. Rack & pinion movements are to be provided to both telescope 7 collimeter. Supplied in a well polished wooden case.
