This stirrer motor features a totally enclosed 1?40-hp motor and two output shafts. Use the geared shaft when you need higher torque (5.4 in-lb) and lower speeds (333 rpm max); and the direct-drive shaft when you need higher speeds (4000 rpm max) and lower torque (0.26 in-lb). Each shaft measures 5?16" dia.
The versatile and reliable electronic motor controller features feedback circuitry that maintains speed even with viscosity changes. Filtered circuitry ensures smooth rotation for repeatability in homogenizing and greatly reduces motor temperature and noise. The reversing switch lets the motor shaft rotate in either direction and reverses pestle direction during homogenization. The controller is connected to the motor with a cord so you can place it away from corrosive environments.
